This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16pt; font-family: Book Antiqua,Palatino;\">Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16pt; font-family: Book Antiqua,Palatino;\">If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16pt; font-family: Book Antiqua,Palatino;\">Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Book Antiqua,Palatino; font-size: 16pt;\">Whether you are a new or current client of my practice, you will be sent a Good Faith Estimate. Your Good Faith Estimate will be created based on your treatment goals. The estimated cost may likely be overestimated in order to provide you the maximum amount of out-of-pocket expenses for treatment. If additional services are recommended, your Good Faith Estimate will be revised to reflect the change.
